Sequel from EMIT Away Day...Farewell and So Long..

A day before EMIT's event, me and the whole AME team, decided to dedicate a memoir video to our one and foremost manager, Ramsey.

The whole idea was invented by Tipah Sedut or Kyrin, the bubbly intern in our team. As we are handling Nigeria, Lagos, Dubai and Madagascar (do we have this site?), we were addressed to write BYE and I LOVE YOU in those languages.

*Basically, those words were prepared by Kyrin itself. Lee Fong and Velan were required to squeeze their brain in remembering I LOVE YOU and GOOD BYE in Chinese and Indian. Those words were written on a black paper. When time to decorate, we were the best. The BLACK paper transformed from dull manuscript to THE MOST AMAZING Art Work. clap clap clap!

Each and everyone of us is required to choose a place for the-goodbye-video-shoot. Mine tragedy place, was in front of the Traders Hotel under a bushy tree. So Hindustan..pffftsss. Those personal videos will be consolidated as AME farewell notes that will be shown during Ramsey's farewell dinner. Kudos guys=)

Apart from Ramsey, we lost another 2 awesome persons. They are Kyrin a.k.a Tipah Sedut and Hendra, The Virtual Machine Expert. Tipah Sedut will be continuing her study at UM and Hendra is seeking another oppurtunity in HP.



Due to time constraints (left a few hours before 4.00pm, Friday), we decided to present a SCRAP BOOK which contains all of our pictures, farewell notes plus a bag of chocolates from Choclatier KLCC.

*To Ramsey + Kyrin + Hendra, you guys will always live in our taught and prayers*

EMIT Away Day at Shagrila Putrajaya

Telaga Minyak Jaafar extended EMIT Away Day Part 2 at Shangrila Putrajaya for gift away ceremony and Ramsey's farewell dinner. We were required to wear WHITE as WHITE presenting sadness, holy and divine. Me ended up with MNG oversize WHite shirt, pants from ZARA and handbag, courtesy from Nadia=) Am trying hard to whore-free by not wearing skirts, dress and etc. (hope Mahadi will read this..hahah)

We went by bus and reached Shangrila around 7.00pm. It took 10 mins from Putrajaya Maritime Centre. Me absolutely stunned by the oustanding view. It was breathtaking!

He was never expected that tonite will be his farewell dinner. He was gobsmacked (hope so) and we could see, tears was gliding down from his face..Ok..Almost=)



'ROAST" session

During the 'ROAST' session (is it correct?), all the team leads were free to speak their mind about Ramsey. HAHAHA..This was the moment that we were waiting for. My team lead claimed, she used to had 1 to 1 with Ramsey - where there was a moment when Ramsey divert the whole discussion by ponting out to the window and said "They are building up something" and rolling his eyes. This was THE SIGN, you have to STOP talking. As my team lead slightly new, she keep continuing the discussion exuberantly..hahahaha

Next, the last team lead confessed :

"As Ramsey is American, he is rich with idioms and most of the talking, he will include idioms in the conversations. And I DONT UNDERSTAND what he's talking about like (I believe something to do with shoes) YOU in MY SHOES ...I like what? And I just say YEAHHH..YEAHH". This was hillarious and FINALLY somebody confessed! I'm not alone.

The gift away ceremony started with Ramsey's cup. The AVATAR won the 1st prize followed by D'Hand, Forwarders and the last one but not least  THE BEST EFFORT WhuteVa.

EMIT Away Day at PutraJaya Maritime Centre

Last Saturday, Telaga Minyak Jaafar organized an awesome EMIT Away Day at Putrajaya Maritime Center. It was my first breakaway with Global Base Operation (GBO) after a month service.

GBO is a big jovial family where consists numbers of groups supporting Africa Middle East, Euro and Asia Pacific...The rest are confidential =)

Each and every one of us is close and fond to each other. The bond is cultivated from the moments you surrender your soul as Server Site Admin. sounds scary isn't it? I have gained bunch bunch of new skills and windows knowledge based (+_+) Luckily, I have been assigned to a super patient mentor so called Anaz (not a real name). Thanx Mentor. I believe he will have a headache in the end of the learning session..teeheee=)

In Dale Carnegie book, he did quote "Remember that a person's name is t the sweetest and most important sound in any language".Absolutely true and undisputable. Our beloved former manager, Ramsey (not a real name) did remember each and every person in GBO which consist 100++ names. (+_+) drooling... It starts from our Admin Assistant until to the new hire, like me ;) it doesn't matter whether you male or female, insufficient of height or what race you are, Ramsey will treat you nicely and call your first name.

Do we greet our janitor? Do we spare some time with the culinary assistant? Do we say 'Thank You' to our cleaner (also inappropriate term) ? I bet, you also don't even care to know their's name? This is our incapability in respecting others.

Ok, I exaggerate too much.

Our 1st session started with the ice breaking, safety briefing and streching. There were 4 groups: Avatar, D'Hand, Forwaders and WhutEva. Every team was required to perform a cheers and will be evaluated by the committee.

Next, we proceed to our main agenda which was DRAGON BOAT. Before we were allowed to row the-monstrous-white boat, we had to undergo water confident in order to build our confident level. As I love water sports so much, I was able to execute the task peacefully. Below are camwhoring session for your eye's lust.

D'Hands won the Dragon Boat Race and the Tug-Of-War. yipieeee!! Congrats guys. It was a heat match between AVatar and The Hand. Everybody showed a high comitment.

We had a tea around 4++pm before proceed to PutraJaya Shangrila for Ramsey's farewell dinner and gift away ceremony. Stay tunned for part 2...
